No problem with this well used and light plum blue a normal S84/98 made by Coppel GmbH in 1940 switched into letter code fnj, the parts are correct, sometime is better dont dissasemble the handle as wout tool could be the countersunk of screw damage, which decrease value, locking nut is proper serialed. Grips are only WaA883 proofed. one of grip is different maker? is there WaA883? i mean the KP stamped grip.
Tip for take photos, one color neutral background material, no flashlights used, better non sunny day outside. No visible handle details here.

Thanks Andy. The seller took the pictures. I just wanted to know if its worth 200 dollars. This would be a nice all matching in good condition bayonet with bakalite handle.

Nice matching bayonets are going for $200-$250 these days. Just look at ended eBay auctions and you’ll see higher prices being realized (lots of pissing contests).

I asked the seller for more pictures. Seems like a nice one to me.

This piece was reported by A. from Estland some years ago, he is a experienced collector of S84/98, the condition and code is good for that price.

Thanks Andy. I actually paid a bit more 240 all in shipped. I forgot there was a exchange rate on Euros from Dollars. And the FAF hit on praypal. Anyway I did the sold search on ebay you guys said to do and you are spot on, a good condition all matching S84/98 no hanger goes for 250 and up. So I may not have gotten the great deal but its a fair one and I can stop looking for an all matching with bakalite grips.

Mercury, You did well even at the higher price than you originally thought. That is a nice piece, and You don't see the Coppel 1940 FNJ very often these days.

Nice S84/98 III, when you get it, PLEASE wipe those damn finger prints off that blade and any where else, keep it nice.
When you get bayonet, if you would, take another pic of the grips. Both sides front and back and beside each other if possible. That`s only if you are comfortable with disassembly.
