Such a shame, it’s a really nice bayonet and then someone defaced it.

Indeed. I think the addition of the extra set of runes on the side of the pommel really adds that special touch one expects to see in a irrefutably authentic example...NOT! I wonder how long it will take before someone jumps on it...

Any one save pics from this turd? The listing was removed or some unsuspecting soul got took.

Dang...thought this thing was going to be around for a little bit longer than that! Bayonet had a small set of "ss" runes on the right side of the the steel pommel area about 1/2 inch behind the grip plate. On the serial number side, in larger, block font, stamped between the serial number and letter block markings, was "SS ZZ A4" as I recall (or was it "A2"?). Either way, it was just as fake...
