First question:
I have a bayonet with serial number E 8676 horizontally on the left upper side of the pommel - Portuguese, I assume?
The scabbard has no numbers or markings other than a small drop-wing Waffenamt eagle on the backside of the ball tip. I can't read the numbers after WAA but the first one appears to be a 2.
Is this the correct scabbard for this bayonet, or would the Portuguese scabbard I have with F 93 on the frog stud and straight wing Waffenamt be more correct?
Second question:
I have a Polish bayonet with W.P. and Polish eagle on the left side of the blade and PERKUN 118664 on the right side. What is the scabbard that is with the bayonet? Is it Polish?
3rd Question: Is there anything particularly scarce, desirable, or valuable about a 42 agv marked bayonet? Bayonet is fairly nice, scabbard is mismatched 41 cof
