    Even in 1942, Steyr quality was pretty lousy. Great gun. For comparison, look at at any Mauser
    produced gun of that year. Looks dont mean anything as long as it shoots!

    I'd say Steyr made- you see them in 41 and 42 with Wa623 proof.
