That is one tough rifle to get....I have been looking for 20 years for one like that condition. :hail:

Did the oversize manual come with it ?

If I owned this rifle it would be one of my top three...kind of the holy grail for us G-43 guys. Post more pics including the stock markings.
 
Here is the book size manual...........A smaller manual came with the 1943 G-43 but not the real small one...BILL

Note the milled action cover, the finely machined bolt carrier with closed handle, no reinforcing rib, muzzle nut

Miles, Bill and company. Does anyone know if Walther made the 43 date rifles with walnut stocks? Doubtful, but I'm very curious.

I dont think so, Ive been talking to others trying to figure out the late war walnut stocks though...did I ever post pics of it?

Ive got to get some nice pics of it
