'Kriegsmodell' book(s) content question

All,
If I were to seek out printed info on the G.33/40, G.29/40, G.24(t) and German modified VZ-24 rifles, what would be a better source, the first or second volumes of 'Kriegsmodell?' I know next to nothing about this book, but would like to know which volume (if any) would serve me best for this type of information.

I've found internet articles on the first two types, here
http://www.ycgg.org/pdfpages/ww2/g33_40_new.pdf

and here
http://www.ycgg.org/pdfpages/ww2/Steyr.pdf

It looks like at least one of them was a former KCN article, which I've heard were high quality. I'm coming into the whole German weapons game late, so please forgive any painfully amateurish questions or assumptions from me...Similarly, if this is a more appropriate question for the German contract weapons forum below this one, please relocate this thread as you see fit.

Thanks for your time,
Pat

Kriegsmodell is a book devoted to the 1945 dated K98k rifles, so it will not have info on the rifles you are asking about. We will eventually cover those in a future book, but it's years down the road. As far as I know forums are the best place to get info on the rifles you are asking about- check our pic sticky thread, lots of examples in there.

Thank you for the info, I didn't realize it only covered '45 K98 rifles. Everything I've found on these rifles has been on the web, so I'll continue down that road.

Thanks again,
Pat
