fixed

I uprighted it for you..my neck was starting to hurt...

So we have proof at least three 29o's were used...

Also noted : the one on the right is using a standard K98 type sling..

TH, you did it again, and thanks M99. Pic stickied for, hopefully further additions. Jack has a pic?

Great picture Amberg! MANY thanks!

Note the rifle on the right has a standard K98 sling - note the adjuster. One wonders if it has the frosch or not - though, likely the frosch omitted and using a stud keeper of some description, seeing it will be attached to the standard detachable swivel.

Oddly, at firsat, I thought the guy on the right had an odd type bayonet - the crossguard "belnds" into the uniform belt buckle so well, it looks like a quilloned bayonet - maybe like one of the Belgian bayonets :) Then I looked again.

29o with k98 sling..

if you look at the thread I started you see exactly how to mount a k98 sling on a 29o..

Ah, forgot those of Mike's.

I have 2 South American contract "Gew98" slings in the mail, so may use one of those, but I think I do have a spare K98 sling SOMEWHERE in my piles (I sold 6 slings, foolishly)

That is all predicated on finding the unique Steyr mid band swivel... I know where one is exactly, just finding the right trade goods is the HARD part! (money waving is USELESS)

There’s one in this pile!
