Walked into the gunshow saturday morning, walked out with this 100% matching AX41 with mint sling and mint matching 1940 bayonet. Just out of an estate and still covered in dust.

It is a good BC report, ERMA was one of the few firms to use Rochlingstahl Steel for barrels. Röchling was well known for supplying rifle barrel steel, quite a few commercial advertisements of the period exist 1919-1930s advertising "Gebr. Rochling" or Röchlingstahl. Surprising that it isn't more commonly encountered on other makers.
