I like looking at period pics. They are a wealth of good info. Most of these are not copyright protected, which is why some of the more popular ones show up alot in books. Most all of those propaganda pics, newsreels, etc., are not copyrighted. Some guys think that buying prints of these pics gives them a copyright to the pics. I've even seen some that lift the pics off the web, load them to their websites, then claim rights to them
