Preferred scope?

So, say there was a guy that wanted to make a late war high turret using a no longer collectible sporterized ce43, ce44, byf43, byf44 or byf45. What, in the opinion of you smart guys, would be your first choice in a period correct scope, assuming you could choose any of those that were actually used? Tell me why also. Thanks guys. Just trying to learn.

A 6-power. Sweet and rare. If you were makig an LSR i would say an opticotechna center focus, i love those.

So the 6x you would be referring to would be a Zeiss Zielsechs? Correct? If so, that would be historically correct for the aforementioned high turret?

yes it would....imho avoid anything with a rear focus...but thats just me
