    Recently sold on Ebay: Soemmerda S84mS, 1891, notched pommel, deactivated latch, 1920 and PwB, with unmarked scabbard. In rough shape but an extraordinary combination.

    Well, somebody murdered the blade.
    Would love to find something like that!

    PS: somewhere I have a photo showing a Bavarian Police officer with SG 84/98 with V-notched pommel. Need to dig it out.

    I wasn't able to save pics (I was using the GB app), but there was a PWB G98 on GunBroker back in August. It was a 1918 Amberg with a blued receiver. Bolt mismatched with a horrifically pitted 98K bolt in it. Stock was marked PWB with a brand (I actually mistook for EWB at first glance.)

    I bid the rifle up to $900, but backed off when outbid, as I was chasing a 98b and a few other things at the time. Hope a member here got it and posts.
