    Default byf44 'n' block

    Hi fellas!

New to the forum here...though of sharing some of my babies.

Starting with one of my favourites.

    byf44 SN 774n

Completely matching and untouched with original marked sling. Unfinished laminate stock with a uniform patina all over. The stock is bare wood underneath with the SN pencilled in!

The story I received from the seller was that it was found in woods in 1945 as is, stored in a shed and registerd in the 1970's where it was kept unfired ever since.

From what I recollect around the web...it should be early '45!

Waiting for the Kriegsmodell book......ordered it in December, but here's a long way from Ohio! Can't wait to start leafing that book.

Have a 'b' block byf44 and a german svwMB 'b' block but have yet to take some good pics!
