My second matching bnz 43 and my fifth bnz 43. Often seen here. Guess there was a lot of bnz 43 in Denmark? Comments velcome.
I also have a bnz. 43 Steyr but with an odd round logo and was told it was the Steyr bullseye. Does any of your bnz 43 have it? Check my posting thread Steyr bnz. 43 with odd logo as I have pics there.
the round logo you are talking about must be on the barrel.. thats either the blank maker of finishers logo. There are quite a few different symbols used by these makers. Steyr did have a stlyized commercial logo like mauser. Ive never seen it on a wartime k98..
Steyr made alot of k98's. Just the luck of the draw where they ended up. Contracts such as navy or luft might mave a little to do where a k98 ended up. But, straight up Heer rifles were treated like any other and would have been issued where needed. I know the german army used alot of captured stuff. Any german marked Krags turn up in that neck of the woods ? What was the handgun of choice in Danmark ?
