German VZ24 Rebuild

I purchased the following rifle at an auction yesterday, actually I had my brother purchase with instructions over the phone. The following photos are shot by him, I have not yet picked up the rifle from him.
I do not know a great deal about these, however I have gleaned enough information on these over the last 25 years to be dangerous.
Here are some photos , my brother shot, will do better ones when I get the rifle.

Thanks for posting it Jsz, pic stickied. Everything I see is textbook German modified Vz.24.

Hopefully when he brings it down, I will get some more photos and better.

The sling is a "D & C" marked, of course not original to the rifle... IMHO placed on by the vet on the way home or after. No history on the rifle, too bad.

Some of the small parts on the bolt are serial numbered via stamped with the two digit numbers and then the same part is also serialed with the four digit serial , via electric pencil on the opposite side.

Enjoy learning more about these.
