    Default dou43 Matching

Literally just got this rifle. Oiled it and snapped pics. All matching late dou43. Bayo lug was removed via the pin when it was found, indicating likely GI bringback.
All stamped parts, mint bore. Came with hood, rod and sling. Foxbrook found it in AZ and thought of his K98K starving friend in Canada.

Nice rifle Canuck! Great combat carried piece. The smart GI knocked out that pin and removed the bayonet lug instead of duffle cutting the stock. By removing the bayonet lug the same result is achieved. My G.29/40 came knocked down like that as it was mailed home as well. The original pin was still in the lug. Very nice collection. Pic stickied for reference.

    Thanks guys.

I was lucky too ham, the pin was in the lug, lug stuck band in the band. Best possible dufflecut scenario.
