You state on P.252 that the WaA 211 team was replaced by WaA 63 at the end of 1935 at Oberndorf.
I have what I believe is an S/42 1936, ser nr 5691 a, low turret sniper. I can't see the code/date because they are covered by the mount base. There are no mfgr WaA on the rec.
On the bottom of the bbl are 3 WaA 211 proofs and 36. The stock is also proofed WaA 211. See photos.
This would indicate that the WaA 211 team did not leave Oberndorff till at least Jan 36.

From the looks of it your rifle is not an S/42, but an S/243. Compare it to the Mauser Borsigwalde section.
