    Default Swp45

I have S/N 44606a SWP45. The rifle has laminated stock, bayonet lug, milled bands with spring, qnw marked stamped floorplate and triggerguard, cupped buttplate with no stock disc. Serials stamped on action, butt, buttplate, bolt root, bands, stock, cocking piece, floorplate, trigger guard and bolt flange. Bolt has round gas holes and action, barrel, bolt all have WaA 63 stamps. Bore is mint and rifle appears unissued. I have been told this rifle should have a kriegsmodell stock, don't know what to think but there are no Czech lions or Brno markings anywhere on it.

Sounds like a wartime barreled action reworked to some extent postwar. Late war dot/swp rifles had unnumbered bands, buttplates, and stocks. Can you post some pix?
WTB/WTT: (1)late E/H marked bcd stock either standard or semi-Kriegs; (2)unnumbered late MO Zf-41 stock, Kriegs or standard stock; (3)transitional late unnumbered type dot stock which uses bandspring and has bayo mount but no cleaning rod hole; (4)unnumbered byf standard stock as typically found on some byf 44 K and L block rifles; (5)unnumbered E/H bnz standard stock as typically found on bnz.4 and bnz 44 N, O, and P block rifles; (6)any bnz Kriegsmodell stock either with E/H or without

I will try to get some pics up. One guy who looked at it thought it might have been a post war East German refurb and renumber.

Just picked up a dou 45 yesterday. (NOT an RC or postwar Czech!)
    SN 9042a
    all blued
unusual double or mis-stamped proof on receiver
    kriegs stock
stamped kriegs TG+FP, follower, and bands
    bolt mismatch
    cai import mark
I'll post on it as soon as I get pics, as I have yet to ID the bolt (matching to itself) no wAa, just a firing proof on side of root, and serial w/suffix on top, etc.

    Serial # 205J
    CAI Import
Mismatched bolt, trigger guard and floor plate.

    Default My dot 1944

Russian mix master, stock is original to barrel/receiver nothing peaned out.
Serial Number; 6286 with a lower case "am" beneath it
Barrel shield; dot 13 FS stamped next to that with waffenamt 63
Receiver; dot 1944 with waffenamt 63 stamped between them
Right side receiver; two waffenamt 63 stamps
Front Barrel band; 2313 on right side, waffenamt 77 on left side
Sling band; stamped 44 on right side, waffenamt WaA53 (or 63) on left
Base plate; 6061 with a KI or KL 167 stamped in a small box above it
    trigger assy; 70782
Bolt has many different numbers, everything has been re-blued and stock varnished.
The electro-pencil marks are barely noticeable
Missing front sight shroud, cleaning rod, and capture screws.
Rifle and bore are in excellent condition, there are two very small Russian crossed rifles, one on stock at rear of tang, one in hollow where the bolt handle rests. Rifle imported to the states by PW Arms, Redmond WA. (small dot matrix mark on left side of receiver)
