nice score Bruce. The stock with markings is as nice as I've seen. It rivals my 38/243
for a laminate with super deep strikes. But, mine is a r.f.v. rifle. This could of been a clerks rifle?? :thumbsup:
 
Do we know why JPS are overlooked over other variations?
I believe some folks dont like the polished look to the receiver markings. Sauer was the only maker to do this and it makes the markings a bit fainter. Personally, they are my go-to maker. Some of the highest quality you'll see in a k98k.

That stock has such a beautiful red color and the whole rifle is so "crisp" and perfect. I wish I could find one as nice as this. Congratulations on owning it.
