    Default byf44 g block

    Picked this up a few weeks ago at a LGS. Serial number is 22526g. All matching including the hand guard. The stock isn't serial numbered on the outside.

    Beauty! Is the rear band not matching? Looks like it has 7s in the serial?

    WTB K98k WaA77 or WaA623 trigger guard/floorplate, cocking piece, and barrel bands serial # 612. Also Looking for WaA 1 proofed rear barrel band serial # 8034.

    Nope, it isn't. If you're noticing the inside edge of the barrel band relative to the stock. I wondered about that also. But, I've had all of the metal off the wood and it's 1 piece. Also, notice that the spring retaining dimple is in the retaining diameter of the band... Not sure how it got that way....
