Now these GI's have the start of a great collection including a G41(W) and an MP43/1. What do you figure this grouping is worth today?

From an old book.
A lot of rifles properly stacked, at least one G.41 visible. Note also the MP.44 at left !

Great pics -

Not easy to find pics of the G41(m)'s in action.

Pic of the two camoflaged soldiers brings back memories of being told off, when failing to apply the neck and hands with camo paint - anyone else have those pleasant memories?

g41w's

these are 2 pic's I had saved.. They were included with a g41 that was being sold on GB. The story was these to guys were part of the 101st Ab that had been cut off for days and eluded capture. Reunited later and looking rather scruffy. They found themselves a g41w somewhere ????

82nd airborne troopers captured on D-Day, escaped during night march and this is their first encounter with GI's in 37 days. Both men are B Co. 505th

This proves Germans took care of the captured Russian weapons-- very willingly. maybe more so than the original owners hahaa

$36k or so would be my guess.
