I have this K98 stamped 660 Variant 1 Navy rifle I inherited from an uncle. I've read up on these on this site and others and believe it is all original. All part numbers match except the bolt, which I understand is normal for a captured rifle. I couldn't find any other marks on the stock inside or out. I know it's missing the sight hood, bayonet and the cleaning rod. It's looks to be well-used and needs a good cleaning. The stock seems solid, so I fired four rounds though it, and it worked just fine. Tell me what you think.
