Well I finally took my Spanish M-43 sniper apart. And I am happy to say the barrel is numbered to the rifle and it does not have any holes drilled in to the barrel !!! It must be a very early one that came in to the US before 1968. And there is no German or any other Country import marking on the rifle.
The barrel has the serial number on the side not on the bottom ?? It is under the hand guard. ???
I will post pictures later I do not think there is many in the US that does not have holes drilled in the barrel.
