Is the rifle you want to use for your build a Russian capture or mismatching? I hope you are not planning to destroy an original matching numbers rifle to turn into an incorrect build. This way you invest money to end up with less value afterwards - probably the worst decision one can do.

I would never use a Mauser made rifle for anything but a turret rifle. But Pol. Waffenmeister Schmidt built one from spares in a police armory in 1943 so they are now all legit. LEGIT I TELL YOU!
