Cleaning kit marking question

Looks legit. Is the patch end of the chain made from brass? I’ve been told that’s a Portuguese mod. Looks typical for Portuguese supplied with the M937 Mausers.

No, it looks aluminum possibly...it's not brass. I left all that wonderful grease on the shoe horn looking tool.

I think the spoon and the chain should be named and dated as well. At least all the markings you have shown look correct.
