Guys, if you have this 2nd model variation, please contact me or post up.

Thanks,
B.

Bruce:
Think this piece might have been posted years ago, but here it is. Bayonet appears to have been refurbished and brought up to S84/98 T3 spec. No rework numbers applied. Original Imperial markings on blade spine. "Su4" WaA on replacement flash guard. New set of brownish-black phenolic grips. Also came in the quite thick and heavy-duty mounted pattern frog, with cross-strap expertly removed at the waist. Makes me think this bayonet remained straight Imperial issue and did not see any service in the Reichswehr... but rather came out of hidden stores after 1936 or so and received a Third Reich makeover.

Thanks for adding, the C on spine is clear so the blade blank was delivered by Boentgen & Sabin. Unfortunally origin pommel WW1 proof is not visible there. Any detail proof on crosspiece or on end of rifle slot?

Ok thanks Fred, just wanted to confirm this combination.
Andy is identifying additional 'stealth' dual maker 2nd models.

Its gotten down to looking at the pommel Fraktur inspection to help localize these.

One new combination is an Erfurt finished bayonet with bank supplied by Heller but without the imperial Erfurt arsenal stamp on the blade.

It pays to double back.

Andy B, looks like this was finished at Heller with the Fraktur 'T' final on the pommel.
Thoughts? If so, then B&S supplied blank to Heller.

I looked thoroughly and there is no evidence of any other markings. The polish of the pommel area is quite nice and smooth.

Thanks to Bert is clear the finisher is Gebr.Heller and proof on pommel is T like normal used by Gebr.Heller in 1917 to sample, yes Bruce as already mentioned Boentgen and Sabin delivered blade blanks to Gebr.Heller in that case.

If any of you have Heller only marked blades, would appreciate a report on the pommel Fraktur stamp.
Looking for more instances of the 'V' indicating finishing by Erfurt.

Thanks,
Bruce
