Hi looking at some advice on this S/42 1937.

From the pictures attach what should I be looking out for with this S/42?
That's going to largely depend on what you're looking for out of this rifle. If you're looking for an all matching, original K98k, this one is definitely not it as the bolt is a mismatch and the stock has been sanded on this one. This rifle appears to be an earlier Portuguese M937 rifle though the barrel looks like it's from a later M937A rifle with that serial number. The original Portuguese M937s were basically standard K98ks pulled off the line with a Portuguese crest and serial number stamped on the stock. The later M937As were purpose made and serialized for export to Portugal. Some clearer pictures of markings on the other parts are needed for a better evaluation.
