Looking to find history and value of this Mauser.

Looks like a Czech Mauser that fell into Turkish hands. Try and google: CESKCSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA A.S. BRNO and Turk Mauser of 1938. Might find something there.

It is a Czechoslovakian Model 1898/22. When the Czechoslovakian Army started using newer short rifles (VZ 23's and VZ 24's), they sold their older and longer Model 1898/22 rifles to the Turks.
