German patches my father brought back

Does anyone know what these patches are? My father brought them home from the war.

The one on the left looks like a Hitler Youth patch of some sort, the one on the right is a Luftwaffe sport shirt patch, went on the PT shirt....

Thanks! When you say Hitler Youth do you mean the ss HJ, or the regular Hitler Youth ?
 
Looks like a regular HJ diamond to me....but civil orgs are not my thing, so I don't know exactly what its for....do you have a rough size? I am heading out of town for a few days, but if no one can ID until I get back, I can look it up for you....

Patches

The Hitler Youth patch is a "Hitler Youth Standard Bearer's" patch. It was worn on the arm by Hitler Youth members who were authorized to carry the Hitler Youth Banner.
The other has been correctly identified as a sport shirt patch.
