Has anyone read Bruno Sutkus' journal "Sniper Ace"?

I am VERY wary after Albrecht Wackers abomination, so would love to hear any accounts of this journal.

Yup, I read it...

I think it was better than the Wacker mess on Sepp Allerberger. I knew I was in for a load of BS when I opened the Sepp Allerberger and even the rifles in the photos were mis-identified. As if no one would notice!

Half of the Bruno Sutkus book is mostly about is communist Russian capture, interrogations and internment post war but is worth the read. I sold both of these books on eBay awhile back as they were not all that memorable. The most detailed book about serving in the German army I have read to date is "Soldat: Reflections of a German Soldier, 1936-1949". Very thorough and detailed but not solely about snipers. Good read, highly recommended.

Yup, concur on Soldat. My father gave it to me some years ago, and I think I have read it 3 times now. A thrilling book.
