QVE 45 Highest Serial Number

Senior Member
This currently is the highest SN known K43 QVE. I have this one on "temporary loan". Milled action cover and rqs mag. Note that there is only one side proof as is seen on other f block guns.

Nice. Thank you for posting.

Note the phosphated (or what looks like it in the pic) triggerguard. Not typical for duv/qve. These show up in later qve production. I suspect it may be a Walther piece sent over when they tranferred parts just before its capture? Just my opinion.

Yes TG is phos. I agree..probably a Walther transfer.

Out of curiosity...any Walther proofed parts on there?

Wondering how many Walther parts were actually transferred at the time the receivers were. I assume they grabbed everything they could.

I have QVE 45 1406d and 2647d which are both just like the one above with the exception of the phosphate parts and milled action housing.

It looks like BLM didn't take the short cuts that Walther did. Nice K43, thanks for sharing.

Agree fully, duv/qve just built the rifles.

While Walther spent time improving, modifying etc. to the last days of the war it seems.

Very Nice QVE 45 , That`s the Condition I want when I find one ,but it must have a Matching Mount. Best Regards

Very cool! Is it original, matching, etc.? Can you post some pics? These extremely late guns can be very interesting, and I think everyone here would be thrilled to see it.

Nice looking gun and the new high serial for qve45! For a qve, stock looks a little darker than usual, so someone may have oiled the stock, but its not a huge deal. Any marks left on the wood?

I am glad my post prompted you to look and post this new high Johnny. A winner by ten ! Let's see more pics.

Qve45

I got the rifle from my local gun dealer who puts things I like behind the counter and gives me a call. He said it came from a local estate and the rifle came from a family member who wanted to "get rid of it". The stock has not been sanded down and I don't think it has been oiled. the rifle is all matching and the only numbers I see are the bolt carrier, receiver and stock. All the other pieces are not number stamped. It was put away a long time ago because when I looked down the barrel all I saw was a thick coat of dust. Once I ran a patch through it shined up nicely.
