Here are some pics of a P 38 with an interesting holster and a Luger. The P 38 is a Spreewerk and all matching and looks like it saw little action, not sure of the year. The holster has a DH on it, which I am sure was added post war. I don't know if the DH itself is a legit piece or not.

The Luger I think is from the 20's looks all matching except the side cover ( 76 should be a 75 ), and magazine ( no #s ). It is in 7.65 Luger and I think it was and export gun because of the English "safe" on it.

What are your thoughts on the value of them? I got both for $800.

Mauser202,

First off you got a great deal. You got the whole lot for the cost of a miss matched shooter P08.
The P.38 soft sided holster had the Panser badge added at some point as it is not period correct and the Germans didn't add them.
The Spreewerke P.38 looks to be in great condition and has correct nice Posselt grips which are unique in color and have 5 breaks in the lines vs 6 on all other grips. The f block guns were produced Late July - August 1943.
As for the P.08 I am not familiar with the 7.65 variants but as mentioned a miss matched shooter alone goes for $800. So you did well.

Mike

Wouldn't the P08 have Germany on the side for export?

Both guns look great.. :hail: Thief !!!!!!

My guess on value:

P38 .....$800
1944 Holster.. $100
DH .... ?
P08 ....$800+

..

Thanks for the reply, the front of the frame in marked Germany, under the serial number.
I am very happy with the pair.
