Unusual Sling ID?

Can anybody identify this sling? Czech, maybe? Curiously, it has been permanently attached to the rear swivel of a Dutch No3 OM carbine with a stitch job very reminiscent of a K98k sling. A German modification?

Ryan,

I have one EXTREMELLY similar to yours. I believe they were Czech export slings, but after the annexation of Czechoslovakia, the Germans would have used them most likely on any buettewaffen.

Mine was modified for a stud system - you can still see the old stitch holes from it's original incarnation.
