I found this in a LGS last week one I've never been to...I pulled it from the rack and seen the stock it was in and put it on layaway immediately...I obviously have a use for the stock as it is for a d block simson rifle.. and the middle band matches the wood so another part off the list for the resto as were the tg screws and the follower all e/6 proofed...The stock has a major repair but beggars can't be choosers..The bolt is a ww2 all matching to itself for a dou 43/44 rifle...The interesting thing on this rifle to me anyway is the barrel...It looks to be an imperial barrel by the proofing in front of the sight base, but the fire proof is clearly much later...I included pictures of the barrel code and RR acceptance...Non import marked and the best part of all it came with a ww1 ersatz bayonet with original scabbard in very good condition...All for the tidy sum of 266.00 out the door..here are some pics
