cstan, we've discussed whether or not to have the OT politics forum. However, the consensus among mods was to have it. I really don't care, honestly, though I have strong opinions about it. Your opinions may be different if you are from the Northeast or Kalifornia. That's fine, but if you are a firearms collector the Democrats you support also would like to put an end to that. I don't have an aluminum foil beanie, just common sense and an ability to seen trends, prior conduct, and understand that such politicians regularly lie and that they don't want the rest of us collecting guns. Hambone, As a new member, I did not realize there was a Off Topic - Political Forum section.
As a person who joined this forum simply for info about and regarding Mauser rifles and German militaria - it stuck me a "unnecessary" to have discussions about a persons political beliefs - where we all have to see it.
I still feel that way.
BUT now I know how things are currently set up and so I'll take my "ass off the ant hill" and just ignore such postings in the future...Chris
