the spots you see in the rectangles are corrosion and filing marks from when the mounts were installed in 1925-26.

Did some searching and Otto Bock from Berlin was active between 1883 and 1926.

Also, there was a video on Youtube from someone who purchased a RSM ZF39 copy and had to disassemble it because
of issues with the dial wheel.
