1916 Danzig "f" block matching

Every once in a while you get the lucky Gunbroker "Buy it now" for half price. This one was one such case. It's a factory matching 16 Danzig in good condition-- only the rod is m/m.

The rifle is closet fresh, so much so that the front action screw has probably not been turned in 100+ years. I did not want to disturb the pristine look of it, so I left it be-- the barrel code will remain a mystery (but we have Danzig pretty well trended anyway)

The firing proof on the bolt is one of the smallest I've seen-- just further proof of the inconsistency of Danzig's eagle style. There are multiple "block letter" acceptance stamps as well... it's a neat idiosyncrasy of Danzig, i believe only they dabbled in using non script acceptance.
