Mark Felton Productions - Hitler's StG-44 in Postwar Service

I watched that. His videos are always well done.
Some of his stuff is quite good.

On the other hand…. Just don’t ever watch one of his videos while you have the wiki article on the topic open. I’ve seen more than one that I believed was basically reading and paraphrasing what was online. I mean, in order, scrolling down the page point by point. I know that’s a serious allegation against an academic, but I’m aware of what I’m saying. It’s not Stephen Ambrose bad, but…. Yea.

The guy advertises that he has a doctorate in history, writes non-fiction books, and spent time as a college professor. He can do better than a copy-paste job from Wikipedia.
But it’s for entertainment purposes. One can’t expect a seven minute video to read like Ian Kershaw. It’s a video version if Wikipedia, it’s for casual learning, entertainment or just passing a few moments of boredom. He does provide his sources if you want to explore further.

I agree with both of you, but I still enjoy his videos. And he is making this history more accessible to a wider and younger audience, which is an admirable achievement for any academic historian.
