Unknown small Nazi scope with claw mount

The case is more interesting than the scope. Scope looks like the typical scope found on German sporting rifles like drilling’s to me.

Nothing to do with a trainer, the ring positions wouldn’t span the receiver correctly on a trainer... the scope would sit waaaaay to far back.
