I could always ask for clarification. However, I thought you couldn't "restore" deactivated guns in Canada?

It's priced pretty steep, even with it's wings clipped. Are you in Canada? Unfortunately the States sees deactivated guns same as live ones, so you'd have to import.

    Pre 98 Firearms - Flipped

I hate how they leave sold items listed. I know they they do it, they get more traffic and higher click through.

My heart sunk a little when I read "deactivated" on the posting. Pin in the chamber and muzzle welded over. She looks like an honest rifle.

    Mauser DSM 34

I have zero preference on the maker. I truly only care about the condition.

    Mauser DSM 34

After some discussion with other forum members, I walked on this rifle. I think you guys would get alone great with my financial advisor.

    Mauser DSM 34

I'm thinking the price is manageable, keeping in mind that I'm Canadian. I figure that importing one of similar condition would end up in the same price range.

Just had this one fly across my table. I am really liking this rifle. Second opinions? Bolt is mismatched, some stock damage, and missing cleaning rod. My only concern is the bluing, it looks a little to good. Price is $2500 CAD

Thoughts on this KKW? -Another added

That's the unfortunate part, there is no next. This was my last kick at the cat. I don't have any other leads.

I just heard back, 1200 for each of them. In my eyes the kkw is worthless, and the broken stock on the bsw ruins my interest.

I just love slogging through all this. A KKW (1-2) and a BSW (3), both are cursed. This was my last led.

Honestly, I would consider either, but I have a preference for a KKW. That being said, someone who I cold called responded. They apparently have some with hitler youth markings. I will keep you posted.

Unfortunately, such a low price is unobtainable. I honestly doubt this revelation would change the current price.

I asked for a close up, but I'm not sure what to make of this. Is it hiding a repair? With the extra length, how does it line up with the rear band? Anyway, I should walk. I'm kind of frustrated, this was my last kick at the cat. Now I'm at square one.

I see now. Strangle that I over looked that. I wonder where that handguard came from. It sort of looks like a spacer.

I'm not sure I see what your referring to. It looks rights for a kkw.

I've been in contact with a gun shop. After this, I am back to square one. No stock cartouche, but the wood looks nice. has the classic tapped receiver. I talked it down to $2200 CAD + tax and shipping (~$1980 USD). I know its too much, but tell me not to buy the rifle.

I appreciate that. Though I don't have my toes in any of your trader or auction sites. So my barrier to entre is not knowing where to look. I know importing will add ~350 to any price, plus I'm paying for currency exchange.

Importing is quite lax, the Gov only really cares about receivers that can become full auto. Everything else is fair game. The only thing keeping me from importing is cost and time. I'm pretty sure Canada had different capture laws then you guys during the war. Though that didn't really stop...

At the time of posting this, I was working towards a price. We got there, and he threw out $1200 CAD. Though more back and forth, he discovered something. The rifle was modified for a mag at one point, and the original fed ramp was replace by a Remington one. No stock marks. and no idea on the...
