Bought this on a whim this past weekend. Rifle is matching minus bolt. Which is an Imperial Kar98a bolt strangely. Can someone please shed some light on this marking on the right side of the receiver?

Bouncing around on lunch and found these at one of my local haunts. Interestingly the GEW 88 sports a flat bolt for a KAR 88 but it is only one digit off from the GEW 88 serial. Luck?
