    New to me bnz42

My BNZ42 c-block bayo lug isn't serialized, but it does have an e/77 inspection and lucky charms. No serial on the buttplate either, just the manufacturer's marking

    1938 660 Model G.12/34 Luftwaffe Karabiner

I'm a little bit of a skeptical of this one... The crest looks very off, almost as if it was engraved or re-stamped. Here's my 1938 660 S/N 308

What do you consider 90% matching.

Using that description on the rifle in question is 100% marketing, likely to trick someone who isn't knowledgeable or new collectors. It's the same with people who list as "All matching except...". As for what would constitute 90% matching, IMO, safety or floor plate/magazine follower. Maybe...

GB seller alert! S/147 SN 5869 TheDanishMan

His VZ-24 listing is fairly comical. It has a mismatched RC magazine and floor plate so it must command Nazi pricing! Just ignore the fact that it's a Romanian refurb VZ-24!

    WMO/1918 serial ranges

This f-block just popped up on GB. Doesn't appear to have Turkish contract markings or Ethiopian Lion of Judah Marking. More pics: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNDkNFeUxQHiu1Z9S3_8anp1FRX44ni_WpWWwDF6mMAio0pexeVW8_OanEaqqGThg?key=ZEZrSVgtMk1VRzFlclJMVy1CVXZUS1FtRlJrRW1B

    Fake Forgotten Weapons HKs

I feel like Ian walks a very fine line. I believe the content he creates is intended to be factual. However, as stated earlier, he cannot be the expert of everything. However, I do believe some of these videos are sponsored, and should be taken with a grain of salt. The best way to burn a...

    WMO/1918 serial ranges

Grey Blanket just listed this one on Broker. I assume this to be a b-block. Interestingly, the barrel lacks a serial number, which strikes it as odd as the d-block earlier in this thread does have a serial. Possibly re-barreled by the Turks?

    BNZ 43 d-block

Recently picked up this BNZ 43 d-block rifle. Finish is almost gone. Barrel code is 77 W Bö followed by a single e/623. Cocking piece is mismatched, but Steyr production. Bolt looks like a possible factory renumber? Looks like the bolt was serialized as 989 and 3 was stamped over the 8.

    WMO/1918 serial ranges

Ran into another Turkish. Here's what I believe is an f-block. Another interesting thing is the Ethiopian contract also seems to be filled with WMO/18 rifles. The 2 pictures are from RTI's website directly and appear to be an a-block. The group of 3 photos shows another 1918 with the Saint...

Unusual S/237 1937 dated some questions on this one for the experts

Looks like a run of the mill sporter restoration. Someone probably had a matching barreled action and bolt and wanted to rebuild the rifle in it's original military configuration. While E/214 is a correct waffenamt for BLM, these parts don't start showing up until 1938, so it's technically not...

Help to date production of a 1940 dated 42 k98

Is it just me, or is OP's rifle actually a q-block and not a-block. The letter below seems to be a closer match to the picture of 8665q, specifically the shape of the island and angle of the tail. On a-block rifles, the island seems to be longer and more elliptical and the tail is short...
