Very true! I own 5 and the closest i have to original and all matching is a dot 43 with mm bolt. The states and euro countries seem to have a much better selection then usOriginally Posted by Slowburn

8172 and its written on the inside and out so it wasn't re-numbered.
The 1920 on the receiver is a Weimar era property mark. It has nothing to do with the modifications this rifle later saw.
