byf 45 without 135 proofed stock

Hello,
Looking for some help on a byf 45 purchased this weekend. I know better that a Mauser made Mauser needs a 135 proof on the wood, but I bought it anyway. That being said, feel free to confirm the stock in no good, I've planned for that outcome already. Gut said it could be a post war Czech stock but it looked the part on the rifle and I could not get past the awesome late war metal finish, or lack there of on the receiver both above and below the wood line. I'm posting today if by some chance someone can authenticate it as Mauser based on the numbers under the butt or any other feature, I'd hate to have assumed wrong and removed the stock later. Feel free to be brutally honest and please indicate why it is or is not a Mauser stock or a Czech stock so I can learn the tell-tales for next time. Also, if it matters one way or the other, the cleaning rod hole is NOT drilled.
Thanks,
Diehard

Last of the photos unless others requested

Few magnified photos inside the stock, saw some mark but not showing well, also looks like the number 18 in pencil.

Thanks in advance for the feedback,
Diehard

The stock is post-war Czech production.
The combination of the drilled buttplate and lack of cleaning rod nut are classic features of the post-war semi-kriegs stocks.
The action is very nice and deserves a good set of late Oberndorf furniture.

Another feature common to the Czech stocks is the milling at the front of the mag well. From what I've seen they have that double U shape cut into the wood there, where as a MO stock would be a straight surface there.

That milling on the receiver below the wood line is something else! Very nice action. Definitely would make a good resto project.
