Incredible rifle Wolfgang never thought I would see one that was contracted by Mauser. We show the sales record that Mauser contracted rifles to the Navy. But never thought I would see one come to light. I also wanted to mention talking to a few older collectors at the SOS show. Some of them did have a few Naval rifles in their collections. One of them mentioned he has a matching Naval rifle, and the receiver was marked to the Mauser company. Wish I could see a picture of it, but he's old school. Doesn't deal with the cell phone or computer. Again thank you very much for sharing Wolfgang.
The c/H c/H c/H matches my 1911 Würt WMO, but the different crowns in the naval acceptance are a neat touch. Reminds me of the naval c/RC on my 1901.

That is fascinating, thanks for sharing! Very interesting that the Prussian WMOs from the era have their own inspectors, but Naval and Wurtt WMOs are the same. I would have expected the naval contract inspectors to be the same as DWM.
