My Axis handguns . . . .

Nice grouping. Looks like a PreWar P08, a "brown widow", and a '44 byf.
Always surprised how nicely the '44 Mauser P38's survived.

Holding the two P08’s in hand, I find it interesting to see the differences, though minor, in machining.
These were made only one year apart, but the nuances are interesting. One dated “1940”, the other “41”.
“41” is marked “P08” while “1940” is not.
Many more machining “shortcuts” taken on the “41” also. (But . . . .it DOES have a matching magazine.)
