First. Awesome resource here! Thanks to those that run it, I know first-hand how much work it is.
Second. Thanks to all the members for posting so much great info and very little white noise! I've spent several hours learning already with many more ahead of me.
And finally: I'm a complete noob about Mauser's. Recently inherited a couple from my father (RIP). Still searching/browsing for as much info as I can find about these two. One is a Russian capture, the other a 1940 (VERY ornate) s/n 1806 hunting variant.
