Also, I learned in this chapter why the cleaning rod length was changed! I had no idea, I assumed it was for ease of cleaning or something. Wrong, the nut created a weak spot in the stock!

Welded "H" band

Page 90. This is on an RC and always wondered why an H front band would have a weld seam. Apparently Mauser made them for Brünn. Weird.
