    Default Erfurt Gew91

I picked this one up in the Texas Hill Country, which is cool to me, as my family is historically from the region, as my Grandfather settled the town of New Braunfels. This year I’ve been searching for Sauers, but God keeps giving me Erfurts, so I guess I’ll take what I can get haha. Let me know if you’d like pictures of anything else, but I probably won’t be breaking it down.

OUTSTANDING... Somebody has to give all those unlovable Erfurts a home.

Look at that polished up bolt. I’m glad you finally joined the Mitchell’s Mauser bandwagon

That's a nice one Clay! Those little Gew91 carbines can be quite elusive here in the states. Congratulations buddy.

Very nice example, to bad no unit marking! I added it to the trends thread, which I noticed followed an abbreviated format... might try and extend the data covered.

Very familiar with New Braunfels, been there dozens of times, practically lived at the truck stop across from the Walmart distribution center, back in the truck driving days, it was a regular stop a couple decades ago. Use to be a good place to visit, lots to do, didn't know G91's roamed around loose!

Very nice unmolested example. Congrats on that pickup!

    How's the bore?

I'm learning to reload, I'll mail you some of my home brewed ammo to try out. I bet we can get this thing to group well off the bench.
