Yes, the correct magazine follower would hold the bolt back after the last shot. No big deal to find the right follower!

And I know the receiver has been touched up with some cold blue.. hence I got it for a decent price, just wondering about the serial number fonts if they look correct and also the serial number on the bolt

Stock has been sanded and restamped in my opinion.

See I agree that the stampings in the wood look extremely fresh, but what are little swirls in the wood? What do you think about the serial numbers...in the wood and the metal parts...does the bolt look legit?

Yeah that was my thinking as well....gonna have to take a look at it closely to see if it's round...all the way around and make sure there isn't a flat spot where the number is

Is there a tiny Eagle63 stamp on the top of the hand guard in front of the rear sight and on the keel of the stock?

Nothing near the rear sight as far as I can tell but yes to the keel of the stock

Also is the caliber usually marked above the manufacturer code on these rifles? This is my first 33/40 and have seen alot of pictures with it stamped on there

Thanks. You can’t have that likely correctly worn Eagle63 on the keel and the crisp serial number, so major stock enhancing all around.
