S98aA - Help with cyphers/proofs

I have a 1901 dated Simson S98aA with a crown over what looks like an "M" proof on the blade spine. I've dug around in my limited library and on the net, but thus far I can't seem to identify this cypher. The guard is marked 13.J.2.63 which I've interpreted as being the 13th Jager Bataillon, 2nd Company, Weapon 2.

I'd be much obliged if anyone can provide any info about this bayonet cypher and other proof marks.

In the link the photo of 1.Company used in 1917 already a S98/05nA bayonets probably. S98aA were used prior 1914.
